World class treatment and best practice

Our services

Our consultative management plans use the latest medical evidence and best practice enabling patients to recover quicker and get back to their best.

  • Accurate assessment and diagnosis of your problem is crucial to your recovery from injury. Every client of Kinetic Sports Physiotherapy receives thorough initial and subsequent consultations, with the focus on your goals and needs. We provide you with a diagnosis of your injury and an explanation of how to best manage your rehabilitation.

  • Although humans are similar, no two are exactly the same. Your treatment at Kinetic Sports Physiotherapy combines evidence based interventions tailored to you and are progressed through your road to recovery.

  • At Kinetic Sports Physiotherapy, we believe that if you can’t measure it, it may not be real. We utilise digital measurements of strength including dynamometry, Vald Performance Nordbord and Forcedecks which have all been shown to accurately assess recovery and risk of injury. With real-time ultrasound we can assess your muscle control and help guide your rehabilitation. With our dedicated gym area and Pilates Space we can help you exercise your way to better health.

  • We have years of experience with the whole spectrum of runners, from novices to future Olympians. We can help you get over your current injury and give you a program to help make you a better, stronger runner.

  • Hands-on assessment and treatment is one of the cornerstones of Physiotherapy. All of our Physiotherapists have Postgraduate qualifications or are highly skilled in manual assessment therapy.

  • All our Physiotherapists can refer directly for X-rays and MRIs.

  • A number of our Physiotherapists have postgraduate training in musculoskeletal dry needling and can use this as an adjunct to your management.

  • We offer small group exercise classes, generally with a maximum number of 4 clients. Each client is initially assessed on their needs and a program is set that addresses your goals. Our classes utilise Clinical Pilates, weights based training and flexibility training. Your program is modified each week to match your progress.

  • Whether it’s to be stronger, healthier or just more functional, our Physiotherapists are all skilled in the exercise prescription and strength training. We offer individual consultations or group exercise, including programs for falls prevention and our bone health classes aimed at reducing the impact of osteoporosis.
